Looking for an activity to close out the school holidays - then look no further. Hockey NSW is running a clinic at Marang Parklands Hockey Fields (330 Captain Cook Drive, Greenhills) on Friday 27 April from 10am - 2pm for kids under age 11. The clinic is open to all kids, whether or not they play hockey. $35 for the day is great value.
Hockey is an Olympic and Commonwealth Games sport - the Australian men's team (the Kookaburras) are ranked number 1 in the world and the Australian women's team (the Hockeroos) are ranked number 5. Marang Parklands Hockey Fields are the newest hockey fields in Sydney.
Kookaburra 8s hockey is modified hockey for young players using a smaller softer ball, aimed at having fun and developing
hockey skills at the same time.
Go along to the clinic with your friends and they will have so much fun that they will want to play hockey with you.
