Welcome to Tartans Hockey Club. We are one of the oldest hockey clubs in Sydney South and welcome girls, boys, women and men to play hockey with Tartans.
Tartans has fielded teams in hockey competitions in southern Sydney since the early 1960s and won our first ladies premiership in 1965. Our first junior premiership was in 1977 with our very first junior team and our first men's team played in 2018 and also won the premiership.
Our first teams played in the Cronulla Section of the NSW Women's Hockey Association. In 1974 this became the Sutherland Shire Women's Hockey Association and eventually the Sydney South Hockey Association.
We have teams for players of all ages and abilities, and welcome returning members, players new to hockey and players returning to hockey after a break. Our players come from across the Shire and beyond. We are an inclusive, family friendly club and some of our players are third generation Tartans!
